Planning Ahead.

This week the meal plan looks like this:

If you want to follow it as well here are the recipes for butternut and coconut soup, jewelled rice, onion and apricot chutney, and daube (a regionally traditional french dish of stewed beef.) Oh and if you want something sweet, here’s a link for Nigel Slater’s pudding cake of honey, cinnamon, and plums.

I also cooked my own red kidney beans to add to my butternut squash soup for a little protein. The rest of the beans, as per usual, went into my freezer to have on hand for later.
